A Contemplative View of Mental Health

A public lecture hosted by The University of Melbourne’s Contemplative Studies Centre, which brought together leaders from Zen and Insight Buddhist, as well as Islamic traditions to discuss mental health, spirituality and emotional wellbeing.

Panellists included Jess Huon, Meditation teacher; Saara Sabbagh, Founding Director and President, Benevolence Australia; Venerable BomHyon Sunim, Chaplain and doctoral research candidate, Western Sydney University.

The event was moderated by Paul Barclay and I produced it into a two-part radio show, which aired on 3CR Community Radio at 5pm, 15th and 22nd November, 2023
